questions...
Haha. I just want to share with you guys what I have read
from a tabloid (Tempo I think?) because it's funny. The questions below will
really make you wonder. haha...
mawawala?
[ If you want to add your own unanswerable questions,
just inform me:-) ]
...just want to share...haha...

weird...
I don't know why, but I find it a bit ironic when teachers
are eager to share their strange experiences to the students especially in a
situation where students are the ones who usually do the sharing and not the
teachers. I'm talking about the NCAE (National Career Assessment Examination)
last Wednesday. [Mandsci teachers were assigned in a school somewhere in
Mandaluyong ( I won't mention the name of the school...)] Anyway, most of the
teachers were obviously culture-shocked when they returned the next day. It's
like they have never seen or heard such things before. It's like, they say,
entering a new dimension; a world of sex, lust,...and mental disorders?
Yeah, you heard it right. Mental disorders. My adviser
talked particularly about this split/multiple personality disorder. I think it's
like having two or more persona inside one body. For example, the first minute
I'm James but the next minute I'm another person...with another name. Think it's
funny? But it really happens. My teacher talked about this girl in her assigned
room. At first, she looks normal (She even said she's beautiful). But hours
after the test started, she was surprised to see her still on the EDQ part (I
forgot the meaning of EDQ) even though her roommates are in the Reading
Comprehension or Manipulative Skills already. My teacher was even perplexed by
her attitude. She'll shade a circle then erase it and shade another one. Then
she will erase her name in the answer sheet and change it with another one. My
adviser just discovered her condition though eye-to-eye contact with the other
students in the room. She's really suffering from multiple personality disorder.
Really weird.
In this part, I made a survey about the split/multiple
personality disorder in IV - Almeda. (Haha, this is really funny, but you don't
have to read this. You may or may not be included in here.) I just asked them
who they think is currently in the state of SPD/MPD or in the state of
developing it someday. Here are the top picks (they're not in order...by the
way, I used first names, middle names and surnames):
M...,R...,A...,J...,M...,T...L...One got seven votes, two got two votes each, and
four
got a vote each.
Please don't take the survey so seriously and don't ask me
who the top picks are unless...
:-)
NOTE: The survey above does not reflect the opinion of the author. They're
from real people who are sane enough (owwws...) to answer my survey question.

the UPCAT
experience
In this post, I will share to you my UPCAT
experience; what it has been like and what I had expected it to be...
Saturday, August 02, 2008 - The day of the most
awaited but ever-dreaded UPCAT ( UP College Admission Test).
8:00 AM - I woke up. This is not my usual waking hour during weekends but I
was forced to get up early so that I would not be late for the test which was
apparently scheduled at 12:30 PM.
9:00 AM - I prepared all the things I am obliged to bring: at least six
pencils, three black ball pens, one red ball pen (I don't know why I included
it...), eraser, ruler, protractor and the test permit. I also included in my bag
some review materials, snacks and drinks, a hand fan and a jacket. It was like I was going to a school field
trip.
9:30 AM - I ate my lunch (or should I say brunch?). Then I took a bath
and dressed up.
10:15 AM - We (My father and I) were all set. We double-checked the things to
bring then we left home.
10:30 AM - We were now in the middle of EDSA. There's no heavy traffic but it
was a harrowing trip. It was also very cold and dark (thanks to my jacket).
10:45 AM - We were in Katipunan Avenue.
10:50 AM - We're still in Katipunan Avenue.
10:55 AM - We took a U-turn then entered UP. Inside the university, traffic
was starting to build up when we came. We passed by the College of Science where
I saw many people (parents I think) with umbrellas waiting.
11:00 AM - We were approaching University Avenue when my father suddenly
turned left instead of right. I noticed his confusion so I took out the map
inside my bag and pinpointed our current location. We were approaching
PHILCOA...hey, we're exiting UP!
11:05 AM - My father was driving very slow to look for a U-turn slot.
Unfortunately, we didn't find any. (tsktsk)
11:10 AM - We found a place to make a U-turn but the road entering UP was
jam-packed with so many cars!
11:20 AM - We passed by the intersection across University Avenue where we
turned left entering Jacinto to SOLAIR.
11:30 AM - My father parked the car several meters away from SOLAIR. Then we
walked to the opposite side of the building where we found many students waiting
in line. I didn't found any classmate there. (how sad...)
After several minutes of waiting outside SOLAIR, they
started segregating the left-handed from the right-handed students. Then they
let us enter. My room was in the second floor (ROOM 201). It was very big and
well-lit. However, my excitement turned to anxiety when I found my place. I was
at the last row! But thanks to the microphone, I can hear clearly what our
proctor was saying. (the speaker was just right behind me...) Then they started
giving out the instructions to us. All was going well when I noticed that my
answer sheet was torn and I couldn't see #s 29 and 30 anymore. I told the
proctor about it and she gave me another one, so I filled it up again with my
name, etc. Then the test started...
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY - for me, it's the easiest of the four tests; no
analogy, synonyms, antonyms, etc.
SCIENCE - more on analyses of graphs and figures
MATH - tricky; a bit hard
READING COMPREHENSION - long selections matched w/ few questions (woh...)
After the test, I was the last person to leave the room
(because I was at the last row). I found my father and he asked me how was it. I
told him that it feels bitin, maybe because there are no breaks and I
didn't eat any of the snacks I brought. I felt hungry so we decided to eat
outside. Then we went home...
That's it. Even my post seems bitin. Adieu.

vanity test
Abstract
It’s been a
while since my last post. (Almost two weeks I think??) So as to fill up that
gap, I want to share to you a survey Angelo and I devised about the vanity of IV
– Almeda. The experiment was made this Friday (June 20, 2008) and the test
subjects (some of our classmates) have no idea that they were our guinea pigs.
(Or so I think...) We have used a wall mirror and tried to tally the number of
visits of each person to it. After a very careful analysis and interpretation of
the data gathered, the results show that almost a quarter of the class had made
a trip to the mirror at least once.
Results
RC – 14 visits
Mara – 10 visits
Pat – 5 visits
Anna – 4 visits
Paolo – 4 visits
Janelle – 3 visits
Ferdyn, Amiel, Arlene, Erika – 2 visits
John, Mikhail, Oliver, Adrian – 1 visit
Conclusion
RC is the vainest of them all!
***The results are only 95% accurate. Also, I don’t think
this will be an award-winning investigatory project for you guys. Haha....

nonsense
(sigh)...It's been a restless day for me...Imagine sleeping at 3
am and then waking up at 8 in the morning...I tried to sleep again but I just
can't...Who wouldn't be tired in that 5 hours of sleep?...Maybe it was the mocha
cake I ate last night for my midnight snack...hahaha...I'm typing nonsense
things...sorry... I'm in the state of being sabog right now...
Anyway, last night I checked the insides of our piano. I tried
to tighten the screw of a string but it won't budge...We have no equipments
specially made for a piano...so I decided to cut it instead with a pair of very
sharp scissors. Don't blame me...it's the last option left. Also, I tried to
check if the makina is still in fine condition. Thankfully, it was. (It's
the most sophisticated part of a piano where you can find the hammers.) Note:
You may not want to open your own pianos for the sake of seeing it.
After that dusty experience, I've decided to read a mystery book (The Experiment
by John Darnton) that I've bought last Monday. It's more of the mysteries of
cloning, identical twins and murder...It's like a modern-day tale of William
Shakespeare's 'The Comedy of Errors'...without the comedy of course...
I think I've wrote enough nonsense things...But before I end this post, I want
you to know that...I really had had mocha cake last night...hahaha...

an interview with
GOD
I want to share to you a poem I got from a local newspaper (The Philippine
Star) two years ago. It's entitled "An Interview With God" which they said
was uploaded on the Internet by an anonymous author.
An interview with God
I dreamed I had an interview with God.
"So, you would like to interview Me?" God
asked.
"If You have the time," I said.
God smiled. "My time is eternity;
what questions do you have in mind to ask
Me?"
"What surprises You most about humankind?"
God answered:
"That they get bored with childhood - they
rush to grow up
and then long to be children again.
"That they lose their health to make money
and then lose their money to restore their
health.
"That by thinking anxiously about the
future,
they forget the present, such that they live
neither in the present nor the future.
"That they live as if they will never die,
and they die as if they had never lived..."
God's hands took mine and we were silent
for a while and then I asked:
"As a parent, what are some of life's
lessons
You want Your children to learn?"
God replied with a smile:
"To learn that they cannot make anyone love
them.
What they can do is to let themselves be
loved.
"To learn that what is most valuable
is not what they have in their lives,
but who they have in their lives.
"To learn that it is not good
to compare themselves to others.
"To learn that a rich person
is not the one who has most
but is one who needs the least.
"To learn that it only takes a few seconds
to open profound wounds in persons one
loves,
and that it may take many years to heal
them.
"To learn to forgive by practicing
forgiveness.
"To learn that there are persons who love
them dearly,
but simply do not know how to express or
show
their feelings.
"To learn that money can buy everything but
happiness.
"To learn that two people can look at the
same thing
and see it very differently.
"To learn that it is not always enough
that they be forgiven by others,
but that they must also forgive themselves.
"And to learn that I am here - always."

the final curtain
Yesterday was our last day in AHEAD. I didn’t really feel downhearted or
teary-eyed or something. To tell you the truth, I haven’t made many
friends there. (I’m not much of a socialite...maybe that’s the reason why.)
Another thing is that we’re going to have a refresher course so we’re going to
meet again. One thing I’ll surely miss is the place. My review center is inside
Robinson’s Galleria so everything was accessible from food to facilities
particularly computer shops for the D.O.T.A. addicts.
I have some friends, of course. There’s my
seatmate Charmaigne and my seatmate’s seatmate, Rafael, the people behind us:
Loubelle, Joyce and Nikki and the silent boys Sherwin and Christian. My review
days in AHEAD won’t be the same without these people.
In our class we have this main antagonist. I
thought he was a nerd but later on, I realized he was just an
‘I-think-I-know-everything’ type. And as far as I can remember, he intended to
trip me once when we had a group activity. My group mates saw it and they
wondered why I took no move against his desperate attitude (I believe in
karma...). Some started to call him ‘ORACLE’ after the movie “300” was
discussed in class. And I think he knew it by this time. (I suppose he
doesn’t like to read blogs. hehe)
Everything in this world must come to an end.
So does my entry.
Adieu.

my first post
So, this is my first post and I don’t know what
to put in here. (???)
Ah, okay, I’ll just tell you some things you
might want to know about my blog.
§
Bebebebebe.page.tl is an odd name for a blog, isn’t it? (It also
contrasts the background and the layout.)
§
Manifesto - A declaration making announcement or explanation of intentions and motives.
§
Why not use Blogspot, Blogger or Multiply? (There’s no reason
behind that, actually.)
§
I made a multi-page blog, separating the main page from the posts.
(Haha, I just want you guys to exert a little effort in clicking the mouse.)
§
My blog is still plain (as of May 29, 2008) so don’t expect too
much.
That’s all for my first entry. So if you
have any other questions, suggestions, violent reactions or sadistic plans vis-a-vis my blog, just tell me (hehe).
